Deadbeef and Spotify installed on Ubuntu - how to access via Snakeoil
#1
Hi,
I managed to install Deadbeef player and Snakeoil directly in Ubuntu through ssh. I can play Deadbeef via an XServer GUI.
Is there a way I can get Snakeoil to access those installed  software as available players?
Note: I cant get those players  installed via Snakeoil software install.
Thanks

Yeah MPD and UNMPDCLI installs work fine. I just discovered Deadbeef sound and kind of like it. Hence I wanted to play with it more....Via Snakoil would be way easier than calling through Ubuntu backend

Deadbeef should work. Go to the Snakeoil software page, and click on deadbeef, it should install and you should get an entry in the music player.
