Got some old hardware that is too too old and crippled to run Snakeoil ??  but you would like to use it to extend the 'Zones" ?

With Snakeoil and LMS as the server you can use this code to run a player

HMMM... why can't I set Snakeoil as the server and another device as the remote player..?   Used to work Can no longer select to run an external client player ???

Wow, that is a lite install! Wonder how the sound compares to something like picoreplayer? I'll definately have to try this when I get some time. I love minimalism!

That should work, unless I broke it when moving this feature to the free edition (i.e. broken for activated users). Will check soon.

Yikes.!  My error...too many devices connected for testing and on 24/7 ....forgot I was running the Raspberry pi version..(RPi4 beta)  which seems only to run MPD and not LMS ??
Killed the RPi and started the x86 Snakeoil and so far so good...
