Hi Agent Kith,
I folllowed the installation instructions - successfully created live CD install on one USB stick.
Then continued with the full installation and was hoping it gets installed on another USB stick (i am using Daphile though this method currently). I could remotely login and see the installed menus. However, i tried reading my music files from my laptop and found out that Windows 10 was wiped out and so were the music file on the HDD. Then tried having another USB with some music file but could not mount this USB stick.
As of now, i have re-installed Windows 10 on my laptop and weary to retry the Snakeoil install.
Can you please advise how to get it installed on USB without affecting my laptop Windows 10?

Woops sorry for that. You can actually change the partition of where you are installing the Snakeoil OS to, refer to the Ubiquity Partitioning in the advanced topics. Just set the USB partition as '/' for the filesystem and make sure the original WIndows 10 parition is left untouched.

At the moment I can't modify the manual to add more content (My new host provider has pretty strange security setup). Hopefully when that is resolved I'd add a section to remind users to double check their partition information during install to make sure they don't overwrite any existing partitions. Thanks for bringing this up.

Thanks. Justtried again and chose the right drive. Also set the Windows 10 drive to be left untouched. But same happened wiping my Windows 10 HDD. No harm done as this is a spare laptop.
I think i am giving up for now.
