hi - i tried a few things this morning. with ssh i got a page with 5 things at the top including "browse" and then it quickly became playlist at the top with a line of q's underneath.
then i decided to reinstall which i have done and it seems to be working ok now. i haven't updated the firmware yet. interestingly with a screen attached it says its starting up ubuntu and has a desktop visible when previously was a black page with 'login' on it.

Chanh reported the same issue too, but on a different ISO. I wonder what the cause is, seems rather random right now
.
Will try and see if I can recreate this in my home setup.
Thanks to psergy (read
here), this issue may have been identified.
Have notified author of MPD (Cirrus) and hopefully he will merge it.
Cirrus has
fixed the crash.
Let me know if you guys want me to roll out an interim Snakeoil pre-release firmware with this fix. Until then, a work around is by creating a file in /media/music/.mpdignore with the following line:
This is tested to work with mpd v19 and should work for git too. But this workaround will not work if you rename those pesky files by removing the first . from the file name.
Should be resolved in v0.1.5-pre-release-20161216 or later.
