Introduction
Golden Ears still have some gas left in the tank! It's really a progressive update to keep up with the times, mainly update ympd and mpd v0.20.18 that fixed a few issues:

Another bug fix is to enable Dirble support (technically not a new feature). Note that for most users Dirble will not work as their API doesn't support CORS. Until they fixed it you have to workaround it by using a browser extension to bypass CORS. I will not be telling you how to do this as it may expose your browser to cross site scripting attacks from other sites. But if you understand the risk, google around the net to find out how.

And I have also updated the MPD section in the manual to describe how ympd works and how to do local covert art if you're using MPDroid. Go check it out if you are using MPD, follow the link here.

BTW guys I have found a bug in 1.0.10. Because we are using yMPD now, when you switch players say from mpd-20 to mpd-v17. Although the UI tells you the players have been switched, it is still running mpd-20.


So if you are using versions 1.0.9 and 1.0.10, please reboot the SnakeoilOS computer when you change any option in MPD, or when changing between MPD versions.

This of course will be fixed in the upcoming 1.0.11.
