Native DSD. It's the holy grail for some, download and install this kernel to enable native DSD support. Please refer to
Native DSD Support in the manual for more infomation.

Please update to Snakeoil 1.1.5 (Blind Testing U5) and above before applying this kernel. Please
read the instructions carefully. The Snakeoil Squad are not liable if you damage your system:[

Kernel dated 20181024 updated to include native DSD support for Amanero Combo. Supporting DACs like the Gieseler Konverter DAC.

Kernel dated 20181118 updated to support the Kitsune/HOLO Spring DAC. If you have this DAC, please test and confirm if native DSD is working now or not.
Kernel updated with new Combo384 fix. If you have a DAC with this receiver, please try it and report back. Thx.
20190320 added support for Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 2 (XMOS). If you have this DAC please test native DSD and report back. Tx.
If you have a Snakeoil activation, using kernel 20190420 (and above) now gives you the power to dynamically configure your native DAC for native DSD playback. Obviously this only works if your DAC supports native DSD, but the Linux kernel doesn't recognize it as such.
The Snakeoil WebApp will dynamically alter kernel to allow native DSD playback (without rebooting). All you need to apply the change is to disconnect and reconnect the DAC. As always, this is experimental, so it's hidden away in the Snakeoil section. This feature will be officially active in the free edition down the road.

That's really great! I hope it works with my Amanero USB input card.
But, where to download? It's still 20190414

A lot depends on the Combo384 firmware unfortunately. There is a report of successful native DSD up to DSD128, and DoP up to DSD256 on this board. In theory, it might be possible for you to replace that Combo384 of yours with one from Dom? Maybe that's the best way forward.
Of course doing this will void any warranty on your existing DAC.

Only way is to try and see how it goes. That's all I can do on my side, the rest, it depends on your hardware now.
