Didn't realise JRiver 25  is out. Looks like I'll need to push out a quick release to support this player.

Unfortunately I'm still working on getting the new server to run smoothly, as well as working on the file maneger side of Snakeoil. And many many things else. Hopefully can churn out a quick release in the coming days. All I can hope is the quality is OK, as there will be limited testing.. :(

Update: Just did a quick check and MediaCenter25 support supposed to be there. Not sure why it's not working? Anybody else have issues not seeing JRiver 25 in their player list?

Hi there - I'm the one who asked about this via email the other day.  Looks like I found a potential fix?

I installed the 1.1.7 firmware AND upgraded to 18.04 LTS.  MediaCenter25 installed and is present in the players list now.

Note:  Can't remember if I had installed 1.1.7 firmware the other day when MediaCenter25 wasn't working for me; but I was definitely on 16.04 LTS.

Cool. So JRiver 25 is working. I'll prepare for JRiver 26 soon in the next release when it's out.
How can I manual upgrade to 18.04?
For me: it's not possible from the Snakeoil webgui.
When I push the upgrade butten, I stay steady on 16.04

For now you can SSH into the command line, and run the following:
Code:
sudo apt update -y
sudo do-release-upgrade
With the second command, say "Y" when prompted "Do you want to continue?".

And remember to say "N" if it ask to replace configuration files. Once completed, reboot and you will be on 18.x. Release upgrade works for some but not others, it's still something I'm trying to work out.
Thank you for perfect programming job, im using 1.1.7 now, RAM disk involves better air, space and fine details. My question is, how to copy files to ram drive on snakeoil computer without using network? is posible using some android putty terminal and install midnight commander into snakeoil os and copy files in native speee ? speed over network is slow around 1.6 MB/s due to double transfer
