Does the Roon Bridge still work with the latest Firmware, after upgrading to the firmware you can not enable it in the Roon player.
Any help would be appreciated.
ThanksĀ

Hi Glenn,
Apologies for not getting back to you sooner on this. Can you:
1. Can you attach a screenshot of your "Music Player" page? I'm assuming you only running RoonBridge as a client, and nothing else? Something like this? Can you check the Client field, and confirm it is running? (Yellow box)
2. Still in players menu, select any other player that's not RoonBridge (e.g. Squeezelite)
3. Go to the Snakeoil menu, uncheck RoonBridge. Hit "Save".. Copy and paste the output from the uninstall.
4. And Check RoonBridge again. Copy and paste the output from that again.
Performing steps 2 and 3 should give you the latest version of RoonBridge. That should make it work again (if you updated RoonServer). Let me know how it goes? If it still doesn't work, I might need to do a team viewer session with you to work out the problems.
Hi,
Can you SSH into your Snakeoil Player, and run the following command?
Code:
cat /opt/RoonBridge/VERSION
The latest version should be:
Code:
100700571
1.7 (build 571) stable
If you're not running this version, upgrade it. I forgot you cannot uninstall the software if it's active, so here're the instructions (I'll also update the post above). Note your Snakeoil PC needs an Internet connection to reinstall RoonBridge.
1. Go to music players menu, select another player other than RoonBridge (e.g. Squeezelite)
2. Go to the Snakeoil menu, uncheck RoonBridge. Hit "Save"..
3. And Check RoonBridge again.
