Any reason the Allo Digione Signature would have any issues with snakeoil?

Also, what is the recommend versions for RaspberryPI?

There should be no issues. Try and update the Raspbian to the latest kernel (or the one recommended by them), and see how it goes?

They seem to recommend a 5V3A PSU, are you supplying enough current to your Pi?

As for the recommended versions, use the latest version Raspbian.
