Will installing a linux-lowlatency kernel do any effect on sound quality?

A low latency or real time (RT) kernel can improve SQ.  I am using my own RT kernel.

You can either try that kernel or use Ubuntu Studio who one. Also, there is a beta version of Ubuntu 22.04 which has a RT kernel.
