cyclictest -t4 -p 80 -N -i 10000 -l 10000 -q
I get this: FATAL: Couldn't initialize libnuma
Have I made a mistake somewhere in my install?
*Thank you AK for 1.4!
No.. It's a problem on Snakeoil end... cyclictest somehow cannot initisalise libnuma in Raspberry Pi for some reason. Will need to research on that one as I am pretty sure cyclictest was working before.

Interesting, I suspect it's due to some weird cache issue but I wonder why a fresh install would do this. Will also investigate this.
For now I am trying my best to rid the API backend of this library called cpprestsdk and replacing it with Qt (this is not as easy as i thought)... Once that is done will look into these two issues.
FYI, I've installed 1.4.0 for the first time yesterday.
Background is, I was using NUC10, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS RT kernel, SO 1.3.x, "player" is "Roon Server" only, the music files is in a local SSD, and mounting a NAS drive with NFS for regularly syncing the music files only.
Firstly, I directly installed the 1.4.0 on this system. It works.
Secondly, I upgraded Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04 LTS, SO still works.
Thirdly, I install the .deb again, as expected, it works.
Thanks AK again.
It's just pity that, as I installed new opamp in less than a month ago, the system is still burn-in and turning. So this time I can't really tell the change in the sound as before.
My setup is now fully running SO 1.4 on Ubuntu 24.04, using CPUset and my own RT kernels. The first NUC is running LMS 9.0.1. The second NUC is running Squeezelite V2.0.0-1507 and CamillaDSP V3 (which I hope will come standard with 1.4.1?) running convolution DSP.
There may be a slight improvement with sound quality (???) with SO 1.4 and Ubuntu 24.04, but I am unable to compare it side by side with SO 1.3, Ubuntu 22.04. I am delighted that the system is stable, bugs will be fixed and SO will continue to improve. Welcome back, Agent Kith!
