Now you need to tie everything together. In this step you you are doing this from your Android/IOS device.
Install the ‘Google Home’ app on your mobile phone or tablet
Go to the menus, and click ‘Home Control’:
You should see a blue circle with a ‘+’ at the lower right corner, tap that to add.
Find your test app from the list (it has a cloud icon, and begins with the word [test]). Tap the row to add:
You will be prompted to sign in. Sign in with the same Google account you used earlier for your Google Home Assistant and Google Actions app.
Once you’re signed in. You should be back int he Home Control setup page in step 4, but with a list of new devices now.
These new devices are from Home Assistant. By default they are not assigned to a room (The words ‘no room assigned’ is below all your Home Assistant device).
Click the second tab ‘Rooms’, and move your devices to the right room. ‘Room’ is really another name for groups. e.g. if you have a room called ‘Bedroom’, you can say phrases like the following to turn devices on/off.
OK Google. Turn on everything in the bedroom. OK Google. Turn everything off in the bedroom.
