I've Installed 1.3.0 several times on different machines smoothly, but those installation are on freshly installed 22.04.

I just did a fresh install on an Intel NUC with no problems. Everything standard, with no Ubuntu Pro real time kernel. 1.3 script completed successfully.

Yes!ubuntu 22.04 is fresh installation.change running Real-time kennel.

ic.  I've installed SnakeOil into both fresh original stock kernel and real-time kernel Ubuntu 22.04 without an issue.  
Or would you please tell us the parts of your PC, e.g. CPU, amount of RAM, volume of HD/SSD, or any other PCI card inserted?

BTW, maybe just use another USB drive, USB port, and USB burning software in your next attempt.  In many years ago, I DO encountered unknown installation problem with my certain old USB drive, certain USB port on the same PC, and certain burning software.  So every times when unknown/strange installation (whatever OS) problem happens, I just change them one by one.

It may be an issue with disk space. only have 5G size.
