Can you do Drupal relatively quickly? If so, then migrate and give us a better tool to maintain Wiki. That will free you to concentrate on the technical side.

It's complicated. Yes because I've already got the new Drupal instance setup. No because I am still busy with other things on my plate right now.

I thought I had the last weekend long weekend to smash the deb stuffs out, but nope. Work got in the way. This weekend I really don't have the energy or motivation to switch my state of mind from work to Snakeoil. And I have to be on my A game tomorrow.

I do realise how behind I am on Snakeoil. Even the RT patches made it to the Kernel mainline!!! That is a significant progress.

If I only have 40 hours a day. At the end of the day have to be a realist, if I quit my job (I nearly did 2 or 3 weeks ago) then I can focus on Snakeoil, otherwise I have to focus on my day job. While I am not earning a lot on my day job, it's still significantly more that what I can get from Snakeoil. With cost of living and what not I have to put my focus on the right place.

Hopefully I can get Drupal up and running for you folks to put content up. But I also want to get that deb build out of the way first, as documentation is kind of useless if you can't run Snakeoil in the first place. :/

To be honest a few weeks ago I am not even sure my company will survive past the year. But today I am getting very promising news on the front line. We might make it. <3

After upgrade to 1.4, LMS and others are all disappeared except mpd.  Then down grade to 1.3.1, everything come back fortunately 😂

1.4 is still in the midst of being developed there could still be bugs. Yeah, I havn't touched on SO since I last posted unfortunately. 2 Fridays ago something I worked on just went into production. That is a feature that should have already been implemented maybe 16 to 18 months ago. There were two developers (one after another) that is tasked to my project are absolutely hopeless. They are always there to claim the credit but they did f**k all.

First one left on his own accord (to a higher paying job), second one is let go before he can pull the same stunt. I hate it when people don't do their jobs they're actually paid to do, and use their current employment as a stepping stone. That is so unethical! I get it people like money, but where is the pride?

To release a feature that should have been done 18 months ago, the first guy was given 8 months and he did nothing, I finished this in two. I had to waste a lot of my effort to document what the 2nd guy has not done, and that's taking development time away from me too.

I guess this isn't an excuse, just a reason why I havn't been focused on SO lately. I really like my day job, and if we do this right we can change the world. However I've just been given two lemons in the past 2 weeks. Promise you guys, once I remove all their bad shit (will keep their good) out of the project, and fix everything up properly. I'll be back working on Snakeoil again.
