Still, it seems like a fairly decent computer. Will be interesting to see how your mac mini goes (esp when you wanna do RT DSP). Have you done the UpTone mini power mod to this machine yet, or is this still running off the stock SMPS?
Just stock PS for now. If Snakeoil works in this configuration there are power mods avilable, UpTone and others. I will explore that if the test works out. I use the Mac Mini for business, so I will probably just move this idea to a dedicated headless Music server. Something like this.

I already went ahead to install snakeoil, so I'm not sure if it's possible for me to run the lscpu command?
Install Success
First Boot after install got this:

Rebooted and got the normal prompt

Was able to mount the music folder from the Mac to copy over my music.

So everthing seems to work. I played a few tracks using the MDP Web Client which also appears to work from my iPad.

Thanks for the update. That's a i7 3770k CPU.
Not quite sure why the first reboot didn't work. But glad it sorted itself out.. Woohoo, thanks for comfirming Power Cable works on the Mac. And I'm guessing in EFI/UEFI mode too.
Nice.

Any idea if supporting the SD card is possible? Also, I have no idea if the fan is running or not, is it possible to provide a CPU tempature and some fan control?

On your second issue, that will require lm_sensors, and additional kernel modules. That may or may not work well, I'd see what I can do and get back to you on that also.

This may or may not help.

They list it works in model 6.1, which is the model which is the same as the 6,2 that I have. Just support for 2 internal HDs is the only difference.

From the information I have posted, should wireless networking work with Snakeoil on my Mac Mini?

It's all wired NIC for now, coz not that easy to do wifi with PHP coding.. Although if you're experienced in Linux you can enable wifi.
A future version of Snakeoil is likely support wifi though.
