Steps to create persistent USB with SnakeOil
- Download pre-installed Ubuntu 22.04 (64bit PC AMD64) server http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/...d/current/
- Use Balena Etcher to burn image on USB stick (Rufus does not work)
- Connect terminal, keyboard to PC, if required. On laptops, will need a USB network adapter; not all will work with Ubuntu and startup process will stall if not working.
- Boot PC, enter F10 (or equivalent) to bring up boot options. On mine, selected 3rd option without UEFI
- Login ubuntu password ubuntu. You will be prompted to change password
