Have a newly setup Snakeoil server, and I'm pretty happy so far.
I'm using the onboard audio on the PC for output to an amplifier via optical.
The onboard audio is Intel HD Audio, which uses the Realtek ALC888 chipset.
The amplifier is a Yamaha HTR-6030 home theatre receiver.
I've disabled all crossfeed and volume control in the software. With this setup, would it actually be bitstreaming to the DAC in the receiver? Or would the onboard audio be processing it?
The onboard audio and the receiver are supposed to be capable of 24bit/192kHz but when playing flacs at this format, I get silence. 24/96 is fine.
I would like to use Airsonic for remote playback. Is it possible to install Docker as per normal Ubuntu?
If not, would installing Airsonic normally mess with Snakeoil's WebUI server?
