Quick Start Guide

This quick start guide summarises the steps to download, install, configure and access Snakeoil OS. Gear Isolation is now simpler than ever.

1. Install Ubuntu Server.
   AMD: Ubuntu Server Install Guide
   Pi: Use Raspberry Pi Installer

2. Login to your newly installed machine.
   Remote Access or SSH using Windows Putty, macOS Terminal, iOS Termius or Android JuiceSSH. 
   Or connect a monitor, keyboard and login

3. Install Snakeoil OS by running this command.

   wget -qLO - \
     https://install.snakeoil-os.net | sudo sh

    

4. Accessing Snakeoil
   Use your browser to enter hostname or Ip address.

5. Get music going
   Set up the music player and music library.
